Adelard's partner Sofia Guerra co-authors report with IAEA

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) published the report co-authored by Adelard’s partner Dr Sofia Guerra “Challenges and Approaches for Selecting, Assessing and Qualifying Commercial Industrial Digital Instrumentation and Control Equipment for Use in Nuclear Power Plant Applications”. The report is part of the IAEA Nuclear Energy Series publications which aim to present good practices and technological advances in the industry as well as discuss general issues relevant to nuclear energy. The focus of this report was identifying the key challenges associated with the use of digital Commercial off the shelf (COTS) devices in nuclear safety applications as well as providing guidance on the requirements for what could be established as an adequate justification process.
